The CCSU Blue Devil played in 52 games this past season, batting .258/.322/.382. Turgeon had 13 doubles, along with 2 triples and 2 home runs as a part of his 48 hits. He also scored 31 runs and drove in 25. Turgeon had 22 more RBI his freshman year, along with a .320 batting average. At Robert E. Fitch Senior H.S., he was named team Captain and team MVP for his senior year, along with being nominated for All-State in the same season. Turgeon was also named a 3-time All-ECC and 2-time All-Area selection. He returns home to his high school baseball field this summer to play for the Schooners.
