After his freshman year at Division II power FPU, Rob helped lead the Ravens to the DII Northeast Region Champs and a visit to the DII World Series. Rob finished his 2010 campaign with a 5-0 mark in 23 appearances logging a 2.28 ERA. In 43 innings pitched he struck out 53 batters and walked only 13.
Rob was an All-State selection as a junior at Trumbull (Conn.) High School and an All-Conference selection as a senior. Rob played at the club level for the Florida Bombers, Connecticut Bombers and Xplosion Baseball.
