Brandon Sinnery is a right-handed pitcher for the University of Michigan. In 2011, Sinnery had a 2-4 record and recorded a 3.15 ERA. Sinnery held opposing batters to a .236 batting average, striking out 39 and walking 24. In 60 innings-pitched, Sinnery gave up 30 runs and 55 hits.
As a sophomore, Sinnery made eight starts in 21 appearances and had a 4-0 record. He picked up his first career save agains USF on Feb. 28, 2010 striking out five batters along the way. His freshman year Sinnery made five starts in 14 appearances and posted a 2-2 record with a 5.09 ERA. Over 35.1 innings, he struck out 25 and walked nine.
During his high school career at Worcester Academy, Sinnery was named to Select Six All-Tournament team during summer ball, and First Team All-League and team captain his junior year. He was ranked by Perfect Game as a tops-3 Massachusetts prep pitcher prior to his senior year. Sinnery was also a standout varsity hockey player all four years of high school. His father, Donald Sinnery, ran track at the University of Connecticut.
